Dr. Mel Tanen, with his highly qualified team, has been providing care in Thornhill since 1993. Our first location was at Yonge and Uplands. We opened our current location Watergarden Dental at Yonge and Arnold in 2015.

We adhere to infection control procedures known as universal precautions for your protection.  All instruments, and other equimpment are either completely sterilized or are discarded between patients. Your health is our primary concern. We are proud of our infection control protocols and we are pleased to discuss these procedures with you.

Watergarden Dental Center is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality, cost effective dental care.

Flexible payment plans to meet your needs are available. We accept payment by cheque, e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard and Interac.

We provide affordable treatment and we are very sensitive to our patients’ ability to pay.  Our fees never exceed the recommended fees in the Ontario Dental Association’s Suggested Fee Guide. In fact, our fees are usually much lower.

Dr. Mel Tanen, BSc, DDS

Dr. Tanen graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1991 and has been practicing dentistry in Thornhill since 1993. Dr. Tanen is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentisty.

 

Dr. Tanen lives with his wife Heather in Thornhill. They have 4 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 3 wonderful granddaughters.
